The work of award-winning photographer and artist Susan Elise Shiebler has been exhibited in various national galleries, museums and cultural centers. Susan has received numerous awards for her fine art and photography including over a decade of numerous Best in Show, First Place and Most Popular Vote awards. She is also the recipient of the first "Jack Van Deckter Memorial Award,” and the prestigious "Winsor & Newton Painting Award.” Susan was chosen to create a design to represent New York State for a White House holiday exhibit. Her work is currently part of a collection housed in the presidential library. Susan has worked for numerous years as a graphic artist and has been commissioned for public and private designs.

As a photographer, Susan was originally inspired as a child by observing her father’s photography and his masterful use of natural light. She then began photographing landscapes and wildlife when she was only 12. Years later, while signed with the Ford Agency in New York, Susan worked on photo shoots with numerous renowned and respected photographers such as Bruce Weber and Titus Kana, whose works have also inspired and since influenced her own style.

Inspired by clean, classic and artistic elements but not in an exclusively traditional style, Susan is preferably a natural light photographer. She also works from her New York studio on Eastern Long Island and is available for sessions in Southeast Suffolk County.
